Text on Multiple Assets

One thing you may want to do in your video is to have the same text appear on several images or videos on your Timeline. To do this we simply need to duplicate the asset and then replace it.

Keep in mind the replace tool only works on No Voice Over videos, but you always have the option to copy and paste with free text. 

Duplicate and Replace

1. To start, add one image or video to your Timeline, then add your text on screen with free text or a another text overlay.
2. When done, return to the Timeline.
3. Click on the clip on the Timeline to select it, you should see a blue handle marking the in and out point on either side of the clip and the toolbar with the edit pencil, collage, scissors, duplicate and trashcan icons 
4. Click the duplicate icon to create a copy of the asset
5. Repeat as necessary, any overlays, including text overlays, quotes, supers or credits will be copied over
6. To replace it, click on an asset from the Lightbox and dragging it above an image or video in the Timeline, when you see ‘Replace‘ appear over the asset drop it with your mouse.
   Text overlays and any effects that are correlated to asset’s length are re-calculated to fit the new length respectively.
