About Dogtopia

Dogtopia, a dog daycare franchise, has more than 200 locations across the US and Canada. In addition to daycare services, they also offer their furry customers boarding and spa treatments. Over the past few years, Dogtopia has been growing rapidly and opening centers on a weekly basis.

As a franchise, many of Dogtopia’s marketing deliverables are created by local teams at each center. Each daycare has its own microsite and social media channels primarily operated by the local team. This allows for effective and direct engagement with their local target audiences.

These centers frequently utilize video as a marketing tool because it generates leads and supports retention. The franchisees use it to showcase their daycare, its dogs, and the local team, share announcements, and more. 

The challenge for Dogtopia was to provide their centers with easy access to streamlined, brand-compliant video production that also supports the creation of localized content.

The Solution

The Results

Initially, Dogtopia onboarded 40 locations. Monthly users have been increasing by 114% month over month and today, around 110 centers are already using and localizing the beautiful templates created by the central team. So far, more than 1,000 videos have been created across 20 different templates such as “Dog of the Week”, “Pet Parent Testimonial”, Meet Our Team” and more.

By using Wochit Frame, Dogtopia has been able to achieve a high level of brand compliance in localized videos across its centers. Using branded templates has simplified ongoing content production for local teams. Video, as the most engaging format, has driven leads and provided localized content to customers at each of the participating centers.
