Start a Video Using Ready-to-Publish

 Every day the video creators at Wochit create hundreds of videos, each available for you to use. In addition to some evergreen content, our Video Creators curate videos that cover both national and international news on a timely schedule. Chances are that we have already created a Ready-To-Publish video on a news story, giving you a major head start on getting a video on your site.

1. From the Home screen, click ‘Discover’ on the header menu.
2. Enter a keyword in the search bar or simply browse through the most recent videos. You can choose between No Voice Over or Voice Over in the Filter drop-down next to the search bar. There, you can also filter by topic.  
3. Once you’ve watched a video to determine whether you want to use it, click on the full preview to bring up the ‘Edit and Produce’ options.
4. This menu will give you information on the video, including the date produced and the length, and and the option to either ‘Edit or Produce.’
   • Produce: This is the quickest option to use the video without making any changes. By selecting this option, Wochit will reproduce the selected video and reformat it to include any custom graphics that are on your production line, like your logo bug and closer. All other text, voice-over, and content within the video will remain the same as what you see in the preview. 
   • Edit: This allows you to enter the video editor on this video. Once in the editor, you have all of the same uploading and editing capabilities as you would have if you started a video from scratch or from a Storyboard.

To Remove the voice-over from a video:

You will see the option to add or remove the voice over from your video under the three-dot button on the top right corner of the screen. When converting to a VO video, you will take the video back to Media Selection, click Next to enter your script and record it.

When converting a project from VO to No VO you will remain on the Timeline stage with the script and voice-over removed.
