Wochit Keyboard Shortcuts

Below is a list of shortcuts currently available for use in Wochit:

Video Segment Editor 

• I = Set IN point asset selector (blue handle) to pink scrubber
• O = Set OUT point asset selector (blue handle) to pink scrubber
• A = Add current selection to Lightbox
• > = Go to next frame with scrubber
• < = Go to previous frame with scrubber
• SPACEBAR = Play / Pause Video Preview

For Use With Scene Detection

• SHIFT + > = Select next scene
• SHIFT + < = Select last scene

Timeline Editing Shortcuts

MAC users should use CMD key instead of CTRL

• CTRL + Z = Undo
• CTRL + Shift + Z = Redo
• CTRL + = Zoom in on Timeline (no VO Timeline)
• CTRL – = Zoom out on Timeline (no VO Timeline)
• SPACEBAR = Play / Pause Rough Cut Preview
• SHIFT + SPACEBAR = Roughcut play Timeline on loop
• DELETE = Will remove selected asset from the Timeline
• Left Arrow = Move scrubber 1 frame back on Timeline (5 seconds during Rough Cut Preview play)
• Right Arrow = Move scrubber 1 frame forward on Timeline (5 seconds during Rough Cut Preview play)

Edit Image Overlay

• Right Arrow Key = Move to the next media asset placed on the Timeline
• Left Arrow Key = Move to previous media asset placed on the Timeline
• ESC = Close Edit Image Overlay and return to the Timeline

Free Text

• BACKSPACE = Delete text box (with text box selected)
• Select the border of the text box then use the arrow keys to move the box around the screen.

Wochit now allows for the option to copy/paste a text box (including formatting). You can copy a text box and paste it on the same asset, different assets, and even another story.

 

You can copy the text by selecting it in the box and then using the shortcuts below to copy and paste. Or to copy the box with all the formatting you can select the border of the box and then use the below shortcuts to copy and paste it.

• Mac:
  •  COMMAND + C = Copy
  •  COMMAND + V = Paste
• PC:
  • CTRL + C = Copy
  • CTRL + V = Paste

Emojis

• You can move the sticker placement area by using the arrow keys on your keyboard

Full Preview

• SPACEBAR = Play/ pause video play
• Left Arrow Key = Rewind video play by 1 frame
• Right Arrow Key = Fast forward video play by 1 frame
