Transitions

There are three options for transitions between videos and images: fast, slow and classic.

  1. In the video editor, click on ‘Transitions’ above the timeline.
  2. A Transition styles page will appear. Hover over each image — classic, slow and fast — to preview how the transition looks.
  3. Finally, select a transition style and click ‘Apply.’
  4. To apply the selected transition style to all assets, shift the toggle to the right. A blue pop-up should say ‘Transitions added on timeline.’ To remove the transition from all assets, click the toggle to the left.

Turn the transition on for a single image:

  1. Make sure the asset is on the Timeline
  2. Click on the image and choose the pencil icon to open the Asset Editor will open
  3. On the right hand side of the preview and underneath the asset description, you will see the Transition In menu
  4. Click on the box to see the full list of available transitions, select one to use for this asset
  5. Use the Lock option to lock in the selected transition for the asset. If a transition is not locked it will randomize if you decide to turn off the transitions or change the transition collection being used.
