Sound Options for Video Clips

There are various options for sound control on your clips.  To adjust the audio on your video clip:

    1. Double click on the video clip in your timeline. Then select the pencil edit tool
    2. In the Asset Editor, on the left hand side with the list of overlays, you will notice the Audio overlay.
    3. Click on the speaker icon to mute or unmute an entire track. This option is available for both BG Music and Video clip audio.
    1. To control the audio levels in more depth, double click on an audio overlay.
    2. Either use the slider or enter a number from 1-100 to designate the volume on Video and Background Music. Play the clip preview on the right side of the screen to test the levels and make sure they suit your needs.
    3. You have the option to ‘Apply to All Videos’ which will apply the sound settings to all video clips on your Timeline.
    4. Then click ‘Apply’ and ‘Save & Close’ to return to the Timeline.
  • The audio levels in the asset editor (including asset, narration and background music) and your rough cut preview will be IDENTICAL to the audio levels in full preview and your final video.
