Video Speed Control

You have the ability to slow down or speed up video clips to give you greater control over your editing experience. Perfect for when you need just a little more time to get your text across or that car chase footage is getting just a little redundant and you want to pick up the pace.

  1. First, enter the editor of the asset you’d like to control by clicking the pencil icon.
  2. Above the video preview is a box where you can set the asset duration.
  3. By default, the option says ‘Speed: Normal,’ and the asset duration is the original time.
  4. To adjust, either enter the numerical asset duration you’d like the clip to be in the number box.
  5. Or, choose fractions or multiples of the original asset speed by looking through the drop-down menu of ‘Speed.’
  6. Watch over the clip preview after it has generated to make sure the desired speed has been met.

Note: Any clip whose speed has been adjusted will be silenced to avoid distorting the audio.
